Upcoming Premiere Broadcasts:
Sunday 26 April:
SIC Radical Portugal 6:45PM? CET - The Lazarus Experiment
Tuesday 28 April:
Ztele Canada 9PM EDT - Planet of the Ood (French version)
Sunday 31 May:
ABC1 Australia 7:30PM - Planet Of The Dead
Saturday 20 June:
SPACE Canada 9:30PM EDT - Planet Of The Dead (Canada covered in This Week In
Doctor Who Western Hemisphere)
Congratulations to Australian Doctor Who fans, as ABC1 has scheduled Planet of the Dead for Sunday 31 May at 7:30PM, 20 days before the next international broadcaster has scheduled the episode (SPACE in Canada). Hopefully this will be good for the ratings in Australia. If everybody tunes in, it would not hurt.
I finally got out my open letter to international broadcasters (and well,
everyone) regarding the issue of internet downloading that affects Doctor Who
(and other shows) on TV. It is a bit rough, but it expresses a lot of thoughts
bubbling beneath the surface. And I honestly think that if networks would follow
some or all of the ideas I outline, they would be startled to see ratings for
imported shows *rise*. If you missed the diatribe, go to
http://tv.groups.yahoo.com/group/thisweekindoctorwho/message/860 . I can see the
logic for savagely ripping it up and rewriting it, but only if something could
be done with it. Feedback is certainly welcome.

Clearly there is a mistake somewhere above, as I find it hard to believe that
TV4 Science Fiction will drop 3 of the 5 airing times of the episodes half-way
through a story. Probably a Hartnell story got skipped, which would be easier to
tell if their website had episode titles.
